This year, Maxillo-facial Pathology entered as the “Muco-Seals” who went on to achieve an impressive 63^rd position out of more than 500 teams entered. The team members included Dr Andre Uys (25:10mins), Professor Willie van Heerden (31:31mins), Professor Herman Bernitz (37:10mins), Professor Johan Marnewick (38:40mins) and Dr Belinda Bunn (44:16mins). 

The day stared out with glorious sunshine but by mid-morning, conditions began to change as the wind picked up with swimming described by most as challenging. Well done to all who participated as well as all those who provided support and good cheer which made for a very festive atmosphere. Maxillo-Facial Pathology is extremely proud of its team and hope it will grow from strength to strength in the coming years!
