Tuks professor listed among top 100 young economists

Rangan obtained a PhD from the Department of Economics, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences of the University of Connecticut in 2004, after which his career went off to a flying start. 

Apart from being a tenured professor in the Department of Economics at UP and a very prolific author, he is now listed among the top 100 young economists on Repository of Economics (RePEc).  Rangan is listed at 97 for those with 10 years or less in a profession. With many more years of eligibility, his ranking is sure to improve even more.
