Notice to students regarding NSFAS allowance pay-outs for 2020

Students who qualify for NSFAS funding will receive their allowances if they have applied online and submitted the necessary documents.

• Book allowance: The majority of students will have received their books allowances in cash via Fundi. Should you have not received a text message from Fundi, please contact [email protected].
• Other allowances: The University is in the process of verifying the submitted applications from NSFAS students.  The February 2020 allowances will be paid from 2 March 2020 onwards. The March 2020 to November 2020 pay-outs will be released at the end of each month.

If you have not submitted your application for NSFAS allowances with the required supporting documentation, please ensure that you complete/upload these on your UP student portal.
