As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the South African tourism industry has unexpectedly and unprecendentedly come to a halt.  In order to start discussions and to be proactive in creating a recovery plan for the tourism sector, South African Tourism has hosted a three-part webinar series concerning a "Tourism Recovery Plan".  The Museum Interpretive Officer and tourism specialist has watched and participated in the webinars.  Please see the commentary in three parts (one per webinar) in the attachments.
