The accommodation at Berg-en-Dal rest camp is designed for tourists and has only two configurations: the Bungalow or the Family Cottage. Both are primarily designed for self-catering (although the rest camp does have a restaurant and cafeteria).
The Bungalow is effectively a one-room unit. The large room contains a kitchenette, sitting area and two (or three), built-in single beds. There is a separate shower and toilet.
The Family Cottage is a two-bedroom unit. It (ostensibly) sleeps 6 people, but actually only has two, separate bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. There are two, built-in single beds in the lounge-kitchen area. There is a separate bathroom, shower and toilet.
In order to comfortably share with someone that you do not know, you would need to book a room in a Family Cottage. The conference organisers would then pair you with someone else who had requested the same.
