The Mamelodi Alumni Chapter is spearheaded by the Director of the Mamelodi campus, Prof Ntebogeng Mokgalaka-Fleischmann and Ms Ida Meyer, the senior student advisor at the campus. The group includes medical doctors, physiotherapists, geologists, IT specialists, engineers, accountants, scientists, lecturers and PhD candidates. Prof Mokgalaka-Fleischmann indicated in her welcoming address that the establishment of the Alumni Association represents an important part of Mamelodi Campus’s commitment to providing a platform for members of the chapter to maintain an active role and relationship with current Extended Curriculum Programme (ECP) students, for networking and productive collaborative alliances. Mamelodi Campus believes that success is the sum of small efforts and mentorship is a perfect vehicle for ensuring the success of the ECP students beyond Mamelodi Campus.
