University of Pretoria, Faculty of Law Welcoming Day 2011

The Law House team was prepared and excited to welcome their new members and was also ready to answer questions by this eager group which surprisingly had a lot to ask and wanted to know things I personally didn’t expect them to bother about at that time . This goes to show the kind of first years we have this year.

 The Acting Dean presented a short seminar in the Auditorium and following that was a mini tour around the faculty building with the assistance of the HKs. There was also “freebies” like faculty lip stuff, highlighters and lots and lots of goodies.

The Law House had one of the best stands when compared to other Faculty houses this year, even if I say so myself, and we made a real effort to welcome the students in style. The faculty at large, students and parents were very impressed.

This is all thanks to the support of ; to name but a few, Elzet Hurter, our wonderful Faculty Student Development Officer, dedicated and passionate Law House Guardian, Mrs Tronel Joubert and many other people.

We thank the University and especially the Faculty for making it all possible and hope it was a beautiful experience for everyone as it was for us.
