Research Interests:

I have a specific interest in translation and access to language through books in different languages

 

Recent Publications:

The state of multilingual publishing in South Africa’s trade book industry (published in conference proceedings)

Multilingual publishing: an investigation into the linguistic access of trade books in South Africa from the beginnings of publishing in South Africa to the new democracy and initiatives of the National Library of South Africa (NLSA) and the South African Book Development Council (SABDC) (Master’s research)

Comparing electronic short books from the USA and the UK to South Africa: can they be successful in the South African trade book sector?  (Accepted for publication in The Electronic Library)

Current research includes an article about changing author profiles in South Africa.
