Philosophical Society of Southern Africa Conference

It is so important for us to stay tuned with great achievements and events within our academic departments. This space will give you the opportunity to always know what is happening all around in you in the academic sphere, I hope you find it interesting. Today our focus is on philosophy.

The Philosophy Department held a Philosophical Society of Southern Africa Conference (PSSA) from the 11th-13th of April. Just a big shoutout to our own Students that contributed to this National event held on our grounds.

Their topics ranged from “Reconceptualising the relationship between the ‘right’ and ‘the Good’ ‘’, Artificial Intelligence Ethics to Reparation and Remembrance in the Land Debate in Southern-African and many more themes.Thank you to everyone who participated and left their mark on the history of philosophy, this was truly a great event, organised by the Philosophy Department.
