ISO/TC 211 aims at standardization in the field of digital geographic information. This is done through their work of establishing a structured set of standards for information relating to a location on earth. OGC and ISO/TC 211 recently joined forces to celebrate and empower women in the geospatial standards field.
Professor Serena Coetzee, our Head of Department was part of the event organised for Wednesday 31 March, where she spoke about the Long walk to an International Standard.
