Dr Liesl Dyson was awarded the Knowledge Tree Innovation Award from the Water Research Commission. This award celebrates outstanding design, process and product development of innovative technologies and was awarded during the gala dinner held on 11 September during the 4th WRC Symposium. She received the reward for the WRC project entitled "The impact of the predictability of continental tropical lows on hydrological modelling: current state and future projections".
