The second CPD conference for doctors, which the CPD Unit of the Department of Family Medicine hosted, was held at Kopanong Conference Centre in Benoni from the 9^th to 12^th of May this year.

There were about a hundred delegates who came from various parts of the country as well as a small contingent from Namibia and the United Kingdom!

Virtually all the presenters were able to pitch their presentations at the correct level for the audience and as a result, most of them received 80 to 100% score on the assessments of the lectures. In addition, there were a number of messages of appreciation received from delegates.

Delegates who attended the whole conference received 30 CPD points and this once-off method of earning the required number of points for the year is continuing to prove popular.
