The module serves as an introduction to computer programming as used in science. Modelling of dynamical processes using difference equations; curve fitting and linear programming are studied. Applications are drawn from real-life situations in, among others, finance, economics physics and ecology. This module is offered at the Mamelodi Campus to students from the BSc Extended programmes.
