Admission Requirements

1.    Relevant honours degree
       or
       relevant postgraduate diploma (PGDip)
2.    A cumulative weighted average of at least 60% for the honours degree or postgraduate diploma

Selection Process

  1. Interested candidates are required to do the following:
    • Submit an application on www.up.ac.za/apply
    • After submission of an online application, the following documents must be submitted to the programme administrator:
      • a motivation for applying (no more than 500 words)
      • a resume (no more than 2 pages)
      • a short video recorded on a mobile device (no more than 2 minutes) in which the candidate explains their motivation for applying
      • proof that the candidate has been employed for five years or more in a relevant field
  2. All interested candidates who submitted complete applications will be evaluated. All candidates who conform to the minimum admission requirements and who submitted all the required documents, will be required to complete an online course before 30 November 2022. Logistics will be communicated directly to provisionally selected candidates
  3. The final selection will be made from candidates who have completed the course
  4. Due to a competitive selection process, successful completion of step 1 does not guarantee final selection
