You are cordially invited to a public lecture and discussion on 28 May 2019 at Future Africa themed 'Will climate change action enhance or undermine the 2030 Agenda and national developmental objectives in South Africa?'

The discussion is aimed at bringing awareness to the relevance of SDG 13 within the broader 2030
Agenda framework and the form of climate change action being taken by various groups within
South Africa.
 
Professor Francois Engelbrecht (University of the Witwatersrand) will deliver the keynote address.
Professor Engelbrecht is an eminent expert in climate model development and will share insights on
African climate change futures.
