Since 2000, UP has operated a framework for campus enterprises to strengthen its leadership in contract research, training, and consulting, while fostering collaboration with the private and public sectors. These enterprises generate additional income for the University and support strategic partnerships.
Several campus companies operate under this model. Some are wholly owned, managing continuing education and consulting services, while others are partially owned, focusing on the commercialisation of intellectual property. All adhere to UP’s quality standards, with governance and management aligned to the University.
