Congratulations to two staff members of our Department, Prof Lourie Terblanche and Prof Francois Steyn, who were acknowledged as NRF-rated researchers at a formal dinner in honour of the University’s Exceptional Academic Achievers and NRF-rated Researchers. Prof Terblanche’s teaching and research is in Social Work; with a specific emphasis on the field of Employee Assistance Programmes. Prof Steyn’s teaching and research is in Criminology, with a focus on resilience among vulnerable groups. We are truly inspired by the achievements of our colleagues.
