MOBILE+2 project – Mobility for International Learning Experiences

Posted on November 20, 2017

Ms Nthabiseng Ramosoeu from the Department of Information Science in the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology, has been selected to participate in the MOBILE+2 project, Mobility for International Learning Experiences, which is being administered by the Department of Research and Innovation (DRI) at the University of Pretoria (UP).

Ms Ramosoeu has been granted a week-long scholarship to attend a course in administrative staff mobility at the Universidade do Porto – Reitoria da Universidade do Porto (SRI) in Portugal in April 2018. This will benefit both the Department of Information Science and the School of Information Technology’s efforts to facilitate the mobility of staff and students at international institutions partnering with UP. The programme also enhances the University’s internationalisation efforts.

This programme is an excellent initiative funded and supported by the European Commission through the Erasmus + Programme, which is aimed at fostering mutual enrichment and a better understanding between Portugal and specifically its 22 programme and partner countries by encouraging student, academic and administrative staff mobility and the transfer of know-how and best practice.

Prof Archie Dick, Head of the Department of Information Science, congratulated Ms Ramoseou on this achievement.
