Message from the Head of the Department Procedural Law


Welcome to the Department of Procedural Law!

All members of the Department of Procedural Law are either admitted attorneys or advocates with strong links to the organised profession. The Department is well positioned, not only within the Faculty, but also in relation with other universities due to the existing collaboration with the Law Societies, Pretoria Bar, Department of Justice and law firms.

The UP Law Clinic is well-known and provides vital legal services to the indigent community and excellent clinical training opportunities for students.

Moot courts are held in most of our subjects and afford students the opportunity to argue mock cases.
