16th ISORBE Congress 2013






The University of Pretoria's Department of Nuclear Medicine hosted the first in Africa, 16th ISORBE congress on 21-23 March 2013. ISORBE is an international society that focuses on the molecular imaging of atherosclerosis, thrombosis, inflammation and infection.

Speakers included both national- and international experts on various aspects of the above-mentioned topics as well as local clinicians' perspectives.During this meeting, Prof Mike Sathekge was elected as the new president of the society.
