Overview

The TuksNetball Club is an open women's netball club, this means that all female netball players - students and non-students aged between 18 and 25 are welcome. With several national senior and junior as well as Fast 5 players coming from TuksNetball, we offer the opportunity for ALL netball players to reach their full potential. From 2023, TuksNetball is looking forward to welcome bona-fide male student netball players to the club.

When you join TuksNetball, you get a chance to play for the club as well as your residence in our Internal League, showcasing the widespread focus at all levels. 

TuksNetball hosts and takes part in multiple tournaments providing opportunities for all levels of play: Telkom Netball League, Gauteng Provincial Championships, Tshwane Netball League, University Netball Championships (USSA), Inter-Varsity, SPAR National Netball Championships, Varsity Netball, Tshwane Development Championships and Internal League.

COACHES

Jenny van Dyk (Head of Programme & Tuks1 Head Coach – as well as coach of the Botswana national netball team). 

All our coaches are NSA accredited with the relevant practical experience and qualifications.


FACILITIES

TuksNetball has five outdoor courts of high quality, managed with the utmost care and regulated with strict safety precautions at all times. Our outdoor courts are equipped with standardized Fast5 lines on all courts, a first in Gauteng! We also have the Rembrandt Hall with two indoor courts available on selected days at the Sports Centre - Hillcrest Sports Campus.
