Undergraduate Programmes

Industrial Engineering Undergraduate studies:

Industrial engineers are generally responsible for the analysis, design, planning, implementation, operation, management and maintenance of integrated systems. These systems consist of people, capital, material, equipment, information and energy. The aim is to increase the productivity of the organisation and creating wealth.
 
There are two study programmes for the Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial and Systems Engineering:
1. BEng Industrial Engineering (12130001) - Four year study programme (2020 Curriculum 
2. BEng Industrial Engineering (12136001) - Augmented (ENGAGE) study programme (2020 Curriculum)  
 

The above mentioned degree programmes have been accredited by the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), and comply with the academic requirements for registration as a professional engineer.
