How do I join & what are the costs?

TuksFencing allows prospective new athletes a four (4) week “try-out” period. Should an athlete decide to take up fencing, they will be required to register and pay the applicable annual membership fees as set out below.

Annual membership fees for 2022

• Full membership: R900 (Seniorw & Juniorw)
• Multi-disciplinary sport: R450 (e.g. infrequently training pentathletes)

Annual membership fees go towards the maintenance of equipment and facilities, including cleaning, security and utilities, and exclude coaching fees – see “Additional fees” below.

Additional Fees

Monthly coaching fees are excluded from the annual membership fees and will be negotiated between the athlete and coaches.

Online registration

Athletes will be issued with an EMPLID No, which must be used as a payment reference. Payment and banking details are provided during the registration process.
