Drs Gustav Muller and Reghard Brits in the Faculty of Law at the University of Pretoria are the editors of the recently released authority on 'Transformative Property Law - Fetschrift in honour of AJ van der Walt' (Juta 2018).  Dr Brits also contributed a chapter on 'Section 21 of the Insolvency Act and the final Constitution’s property clause: Revisiting Harksen v Lane NO'.

This publication honours Prof André van der Walt (1956 - 2016) for his unequivocal and significant contribution to the development of theoretical foundations for the transformation of Property Law in post-apartheid South Africa.  The book forms part of Juta's Property Law Library series, which books are available online.

Prof Van der Walt served as an Extraordinary Professor in the Department of Jurisprudence at the University of Pretoria from 2010 until his passing in 2016.
