Heilna du Plooy edited the correspodence between Elize Botha and a number of other Afrikaans writers and academics. The book, Gespreksgenoot, consists of 650 pages of letters written by and to Elize Botha (former professor at UP, UNISA and Chancellor of University of Stellenbosch), spanning a half century (1955-2005) providing interesting insights into Afrikaans literary debates and events.
The launch was held in the historic Melrose House Museum on Saturday 11 November 2017.
