Background & Vision

The Department is housed in Building 5 on the South Campus, within close walking distance of all facilities on the Main Campus. All tuition offered by the Department is presented in this building, where facilities include well-equipped offices for staff, lecture halls, seminar rooms, computer lab and tutor room. Courses and modules offered by other faculties take place in venues provided by them on Main Campus.

Staff and students also have direct access to facilities at the Department of Architecture, such as auditoriums, a computer center, exhibition facilities and a reading room stocked with books, journals, student dissertations and product information libraries.

Our vision is to make a tangible contribution to the development of the construction industry through our dedication to excellence in teaching and research.
