Students enrolled in the Community-Based Project module (JCP), the compulsory undergraduate module of the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and Information technology upgraded the enclosure of the mongoose enclosure at Bester Birds and Animal Zoo Park in Pretoria.

The students, Devon Jansen, Matthew Lazenby, Connor McDonald, Ryan Shackleton and Jason Wille indicated afterwards that to be efficient and effective they realised that they needed to work together, glue ideas together and cooperate with the execution of plans. They also indicated it felt good to give back to the community and that it gave them a sensation only felt by helping others.
