JCP-students repainted victim room at Brooklyn Police Station

Posted on May 16, 2017

Students enrolled for the compulsory undergraduate module, Community-based Project Module (JCP) of the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology revamped the victim room at the Brooklyn Police station.  The students, Rishav Maharaj, Carey Naidoo, Shannon Neman, Thomo Ramaila and Preshen Ramsundar reflected afterwards:

We may not value what others do for us yet others value what we do for them. We learnt in order to make the world a better place it starts with every individual to start to make a change. The best inner peace you could ever get is doing something great that would be of help to a person in trouble.
