Transport from the airport to City Lodge Hotel:

If you arrive in South Africa at OR Tambo International Airport, a very good (and exciting) way to get to Pretoria is by the Gautrain. It departs from inside the airport building. The train is safe and fast. You need to buy a travel card and add money for a one-way trip to the Hatfield Station in Pretoria. You change trains for Hatfield Station at Marlborough Station. The current cost for a one-way ticket is R155,00. For more information, visit www.gautrain.co.za.

From the Hatfield Station, you may want to take a taxi to your B&B or hotel. If you arrive at OR Tambo International Airport after 19:00, you need to make alternative transport arrangements as the Gautrain will have stopped running. In that case or if you prefer private transport from the airport, you can contact Best Shuttle by sending an email to [email protected]. They will give you a good price there, if you are travelling in a group, there is only a limited extra cost for each additional passenger. This is a very trustworthy service.
