iKUTU Research Project
The Departments of Auditing at the University of South Africa, University of Pretoria and the Tshwane University of Technology, in conjunction with the Bureau of Market Research (BMR) at the University of South Africa (Unisa), conducted a research project to establish the standing of and demand for internal auditing within South African listed companies and national government departments. Attached are the results of this project.
Competence of Chartered Accountants and Auditors
The Department of Auditing is driving an investigation into the probable future parameters of the competency frameworks of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and The Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors. This investigation led to the
CA2025 project.
