Congratulations to Marguerite Pienaar and her team for winning the PIA award for public architecture with their project the Wilgers Medical Centre. Marguetite also contributed to the book Africa Drawn:100 cities, edited by ex-staff member Gary White, which won the research award. The Department's publication with TU Delft, Re-centring Tshwane, received a commendation for research.
