The Bureau for Food and Agricultural (BFAP) policy was established in 2004, as a research program within the department of Agricultural economics at the University of Pretoria. BFAP celebrates it 15th year of existence, and the 15th edition of their annual baseline outlook was launched on 15 August 2018 in Pretoria. In order to celebrate this milestone the BFAP team decided that it was time to revisit their logo and website. The crisp new logo eludes to a multidciplinary team synthesising and providing information on (and to) the agro-food industry in South Africa and the broader region.
