Research Oppurtunities (Bursary support) 

Bursary support for 1 Master's student and 1 Honours degree student:
I am looking for two talented “South African” students interested in pursuing Master's study(one student) and Honours degree (one student) with expertise on "NB-IoT in the context of 5G" to join the department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering at University of Pretoria. 

This bursary covers 1-year research study for MEng (and a short research secondment in Europe for MEng student). A bursary equivalent to full tuition/registration fees for honours degree will be offered.

A candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in engineering (4 years) in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering from a South Africa University.

I am looking for a talented “South African” PhD student with expertise on IoT in Wireless Communications to join the department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering at University of Pretoria. This PhD position includes research secondment in Europe and the bursary support for only three years.


A candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in engineering (4 years) and master's degree in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering, with solid background in Mathematics from a South Africa University.
