Mission:
The mission of the University of Pretoria’s Department of Security Services is:
- To provide a professional service for the protection of people and property at UP.
- To identify, monitor, control and address internal and external risks with regards to safety and security in collaboration with various partners and role players in the community.
- To provide proactive, efficient and effective holistic support services to the university and its clients in respect of all activities hosted by the university.
