Security Operations
As prescribed by UP and departmental policy, statutory legislation, quality management guidelines and corporate governance, the strategic and operational management of the Division: Security Operations includes the following:
- Overall management of security operations
- Events management and the performance of specific duties during these events
- Locking and unlocking of buildings, and conducting daily building inspections
- Compiling risk analyses to identify possible shortcomings and recommend remedial steps
- Traffic reservations and the enforcement of traffic laws
- Reacting to alarms
- Case management and incident handling
- Access control
