Did you know that the UP Library Special Collections Unit issues ISBNs for UP publications?
The International Standard Book Number (ISBN) is a unique identification number, given to single publications in printed, digital and mixed media formats. Each format of a publication is allocated its own ISBN, which indicates the edition, specific publisher and format of a publication. The first 9 digits in the ISBNs which we issue identify the books as UP publications.
We recently issued the ISBN for the University of Pretoria Annual Review, 2020!
