The Department of Library Services invites you to a Data Management Plan Workshop that will be presented by Ms Nobubele Shozi from the Data Intensive Research Initiative of South Africa (DIRISA).
This workshop is part of the SA-DMP Tool Roadshow to introduce researchers and staff members to the South African Data Management Planning (SA-DMP) Tool. During the workshop a demonstration will be given on how to use the tool, and researchers and staff members will be given an opportunity to provide feedback to DIRISA about the tool.
Presenter: Ms Nobubele Shozi from the Data Intensive Research Initiative of South Africa (DIRISA). Nobubele Angel Shozi is a Senior Researcher at the Data Intensive Research Initiative of South Africa (DIRISA) which is part of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). Nobubele Shozi holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from the Nelson Mandela University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at the University of South Africa (UNISA). Nobubele’s research interests lie in the domain of big data, privacy and social media.
Target audience: Lecturing staff, researchers, postgraduate researchers, library staff and other UP support staff.
