Construction Economics PhD student attended ICCREM Conference 2013 in Karlsruhe, Germany

‘The 2013 International Conference on Construction and Real Estate Management (ICCREM 2013) was jointly organized by Harbin Institute of Technology, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, North Dakota State University, Queensland University of Technology, University of Florida, Purdue University, University of Salford, University of the West of England, Florida International University and National University of Singapore. The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Modernization of Management Committee (MMC) of the China Construction Industry Association (CCIA) were co-sponsors of the ICCREM 2013’ [http:/iccrem.com/en/?a=huiyi]

The conference focused on construction and operations in the context of sustainability. Ms Ogwueleka presented a paper at the conference titled, 'A review of Incentive Issues in the South African construction industry: prospects and challenges'. She says that she is grateful to the Department of Construction Economics for giving her this opportunity and commented that she found the German people to be very friendly hosts
