Goals:

Teaching and Training:

To produce oral hygienists, dentists, community dentistry specialists and other postgraduate students, through formal training in the field of public oral health, to satisfy the oral health needs of the population.

Research:

To generate new knowledge, through basic and applied research in the field of public oral health and oral disease prevention.

Patient Care:

To render primary preventive oral health care to individual patients, communities as well as high risk patients in various treatment settings.

Community Service:

To provide the necessary knowledge and skills to practicing oral health professionals through continuing educational programmes.
