Biography
Qualified as a veterinarian at UP in 1990, PhD at Utrecht in 2006. Registered as Specialist in Bovine Medicine and in Veterinary Epidemiology.
Research description
Epidemiology and surveillance of infectious diseases at wildlife/livestock/human interfaces. Epidemiology of transboundary animal diseases, particularly zoonotic diseases. Epidemiology of Rift Valley fever. Effects of infectious disease on animal health and production.
