Reimaging Reproduction Project
Call for Applications: Re-imagining Reproduction Fellowships
The Re-imagining Reproduction (Re-Re) project is now inviting applications for short-term fellowships of 2–4 months starting January to August 2026. These fellowships offer an exciting opportunity for researchers to engage deeply with our interdisciplinary work on reproduction, kinship, and care in Africa.
Fellowship Package:
- Economy flights to and from the host institution (University of Pretoria, South Africa)
- Accommodation for the duration of the fellowship
- A living stipend
In return, fellows are expected to produce outputs that contribute to the project. These outputs may vary depending on the fellow’s expertise and the length of stay, and can include publications, policy briefs, workshops, public engagement activities, or other outputs that strengthen Re-Re’s work.
Application Requirements:
Applicants should submit a formal application consisting of:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Letter of Motivation, including:
- Proposed fellowship duration
- Intended outputs during the fellowship, particularly those contributing to the
project’s scholarly and public engagement goals
All applications will be reviewed by the Re-Re Advisory Board to ensure an objective and transparent selection process.
Application Submission:
Please submit your applications to Charlotte Visagie at [email protected] Applications are now open, and we encourage prospective fellows to apply early as there is a limited amount of applications available.
