Priya Soma-Pillay is Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Steve Biko Academic Hospital and the University of Pretoria. Priya is a maternal and fetal medicine sub-specialist with a special interest in high-risk obstetrics. Priya is the current president of the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of South Africa and immediate past honorary secretary of the South African Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of South Africa. She also serves on the FIGO executive board
