Dr Daphney Fosu-Amoah is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She studied her undergraduate degree in Medicine at the Medical University of South Africa, now called the Sefako Makgatho University. She trained as a specialist at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, from 2010 to 2013 and obtained her Mmed qualification in 2014. She currently holds the position of a district Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Tshwane District Health Services in the Gauteng province of South Africa. Her interests lie in preventative care, early diagnosis of disease, and improving the quality of care in maternal health at primary health care level. She is currently collaborating with the SAMRC team at Kalafong on Umbiflow™ research.
