The 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children is a United Nations campaign which takes place annually from 25 November (International Day of No Violence against Women) to 10 December (International Human Rights Day). The University of Pretoria’s Transformation Office will be joining the national activities by hosting a virtual panel discussion focusing on 'Intimate Partner Violence'.
The panel will consist of Professor Nicole De Wet-Billings, Assistant Dean for Postgraduate Studies in the Faculty of Humanities at the University of the Witwatersrand, and Ms Sarah Lekale, Director of Goldfields Family Advice Centre, who will be joined by a survivor of intimate partner violence.
