The University of Pretoria (UP) invites you to a panel discussion titled Humanising Technology. The panel will focus on Society 5.0 from a human perspective on technology and the opportunities and pitfalls associated with technology.

The panel includes Professor Miguel Goede, visiting professor at the Anton de Kom University of Suriname and founder of the University of Governance 5.0 and Goede Consultations; Professor Norman Duncan, who holds a professorship in Psychology and is the Vice-Principal: Academic at UP; and Professor Hanlie Smuts, an Associate Professor in the Department of Informatics at UP since 2017. Professor Alta van der Merwe, Deputy Dean: Teaching and Learning in the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and IT at UP, will be the convenor.
