McGraw-Hill this week announced its expanded support for university students in South Africa through a new collaboration with the University of Pretoria’s Department of Business Management, making high-quality digital learning resources available to thousands of students.

Together, the University of Pretoria’s Department of Business Management and McGraw-Hill are working to create a blend of local South African and McGraw-Hill content to be delivered through the McGraw-Hill Connectâ digital learning platform. The first courses, collectively named ‘Advanced Business Management’, launched in January 2019, reaching 5 000 learners in its first month of use. Instructors are supported through professional development and curriculum alignment expertise provided by McGraw-Hill.

Connect is a digital teaching and learning platform solution that provides course management and student performance analytics for educators. For students, Connect offers adaptive reading experiences through McGraw-Hill’s powerful Smartbook app. To learn more about Connect visit https://www.mheducation.co.uk/digital/product/connect.

“We’re proud to be expanding our presence in South Africa, providing resources to students that will prepare them for future careers,” said Murray St. Leger, Managing Director of McGraw-Hill’s business in Europe, Middle East and Africa. “As a leading presence in education institutions worldwide, we welcome the opportunity to leverage our instructional expertise and technology, while also providing students and educators with direct access to our content, educational services and customized learning solutions.
