The Applied Research Methods course is a compulsory attendance course for all postgraduate students in the Faculty of Health Sciences (Honours, Masters, including MMed students, as well as PhD students that have not yet done a formal research methods/protocol writing course).
If at any time you have already completed such a course or one similar you may ask for exemption by completing the form https://www.up.ac.za/media/shared/8/TNM/application-for-credit-of-courses-transfer-credits.zp245343.pdf and sending it to [email protected]. You need to provide evidence of the aspects that were covered elsewhere (like a study guide or programme) and proof of “passing” the course. (e.g. a certificate).
To find out how to register for a TNM course on ClickUP watch this video:
Note: You must be registered for the 2024 academic year and have TNM 700/802 on your academic record. You will then self-enrol via ClickUP - please view the video above for more information on the process.
If you do not see these options in ClickUP it means they are already full.
