Mohammed Adam
Extraordinary Lecturer: Integrated Reporting
Mohammed Adam holds a BA law degree from the University of Durban-Westville, LLB degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and LLM degree in International Trade Law from the University of Essex in the UK.
Mohammed was admitted to practice as an attorney in 1998 focusing on human rights with the law firm Ismail Ayob and Partners before joining Eskom Holdings SOC Limited as a legal advisor in 1991. Since then he held several positions in Eskom in a professional and management role. At present he is Eskom’s Corporate Counsel and Divisional Executive (Regulatory and Legal) responsible for three main areas: Legal (including compliance), regulatory matters and corporate governance (including the company secretariat) and ethics.

John North
Faculty Associate
Academic qualifications:  BA Information Science, BA Information Science Honours, Masters in Business Administration (Majoring in Strategy & Project Management).
John North is an integrational entrepreneur operating across the boundaries of society, business and academia. He hold an MBA degree, created 2 online businesses during his undergraduate degree, and later worked as international strategy consultant advising Fortune 500 companies. He was the founding head of Accenture's sustainability practice in Ireland. His passion to make a difference in his home country brought him back to South Africa in 2009 where he combines local work as senior advisor to the Albert Luthuli Leadership Institute, University of Pretoria and an international role as Projects Head of the Brussels-based UN-backed Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative. In the latter role he is focussed on a series of implementation projects of the 50+20 Agenda of management education in service of society.

Jaco Kruger
Faculty Associate
Jaco Kruger holds the degree DLitt et Phil from the University of South Africa (Unisa). He previously obtained a Master’s Degree in Philosophy and an Honnours Degree in Theology from the North-West University, Potchefstroom. At present Jaco is the Head of the Department of Humanities at St Augustine College of SA ( He is involved in the undergraduate teaching of Philosophy, the postgraduate teaching of Philosophy and Applied Ethics, and the supervision of postgraduate research in Philosophy and Applied Ethics.


Loshni Naidoo
Faculty Associate
Academic qualifications:  BSc Eng (Chem), BCom (INF), MBA, PGDip (Future Studies).
Loshni Naidoo is the Integrated Reporting Project Director at SAICA, the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.  Her focus at SAICA is to support its members, the broader finance community and society with information and tools to progress the conversation on sustainability, integrated thinking and integrated reporting.  
Loshni began her career as a chemical engineer and worked for several years in the production and project environments; mainly in mining and chemicals manufacturing. Later, she moved into the accounting and finance fields, where her focus was on providing integrated reporting, and sustainability advisory and assurance solutions to a diverse array of organisations.
She also serves as an independent non- executive director on WESSA’s Board, and is the Chair of its audit, risk and assurance committee.
