Junior Lecturer in Classical / Biblical Greek

Duties:
The successful candidate will
• Teach modules in Classical / Biblical Greek grammar and literature.
• Teach modules in Ancient Culture Studies.
• Have appropriate language and communications skills.
• Be willing to be deployed according to the needs of the Department of Ancient Languages.

Minimum requirements:
The successful candidate
• Has a Masters degree in Greek / Ancient Language and Culture Studies.
• Has basic teaching experience.
• Has a proven research ability.
• Is able to carry out independent research.

The remuneration package for appointment on Junior Lecturer level ranges from approximately R181 631 and R214 908   (excluding Medical Aid benefits) as determined by UP policy guidelines
