Faculty Day 22 & 23 August 2017

The main purpose of the Faculty of Health Sciences Faculty Day is to give researchers, post- and undergraduate students the opportunity to present their research findings to the Faculty. Research is presented in the form of poster exhibitions and oral and poster presentations. On postgraduate level (MSc and higher degrees) prizes are awarded for the best contributions in clinical and pre-clinical research. Undergraduate students up to honours level compete for an undergraduate prize.

Distinguished speakers from within and outside the Faculty are invited to take part in the proceedings and Continued Professional Development (CPD) points can be earned by attending Faculty Day.

The concluding event of Faculty Day is the social function, where faculty members have the opportunity to socialise and meet with fellow faculty members.
